UNSANE (2018) Review

The story is lame and predictable, and the dialogue feels unnatural. You're given no time to breathe between scenes, which gives the film a claustrophobic touch- and not in a good way. Any originality it might have had is tossed out the window and what you're left with is a by-the-numbers thriller plot without the thrill. The camerawork, while I can appreciate the risk, feels cheap and clearly does not carry the effect that Soderbergh intended.
