LADY BIRD (2017) Review

No character will be left without your sympathy at the end of "Lady Bird." There's quite a diverse range of them, from an arrogant wannabe hipster to a humble, closeted gay kid. Somehow, Gerwig's screenplay manages to incorporate and develop them all without any out of place exposition, yet still focus the majority of the runtime on the compelling mother-daughter relationship. Although it may lack a certain depth, Lady Bird won't leave your mind easily.

Score: 8.6/10
