With 2018 behind us, and the Oscars right in front of us, it's a great time to reflect on the past year and its corresponding achievements in film. From devastatingly honest films like The Tale and First Man; to outstanding comedic entries such as Game Night; and the absolutely unthinkable mind of Yorgos Lanthimos with The Favourite; and the fresh and newer minds with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Sorry to Bother You - 2018 offered new and some of the most outstanding theatre experiences for me and my brother. Below is a compilation of some of those resounding moments that came out of this past year's movies.
